Many tubs in Ahwatukee homes have been in place for decades. They may still function properly, but years of daily use can leave the surface worn, the surround dated, and the entire bathroom looking like it belongs to another era.
If your tub has been bothering you for a while, a professional remodel can give the space a noticeably fresher appearance without turning your bathroom into a weeks-long construction project. At 1 Day Bath of Arizona, we install acrylic tubs and wall surrounds for homeowners in Ahwatukee, AZ, handling everything from removal and preparation through installation and cleanup.
Ask longtime Ahwatukee residents what they appreciate about the community, and the area’s quiet character often comes up. Streets wind through the foothills, while many roads end in cul-de-sacs instead of serving as through routes for heavy traffic. That residential atmosphere is one of the qualities that has kept homeowners here for years.
The homes reflect the area’s history as well. Many Ahwatukee neighborhoods were developed between the mid-1980s and 2000, when standard bathtubs and tiled surrounds were common choices for new construction. Those bathrooms made sense for growing families at the time, but decades of use can change how a space looks and functions.
Tile may have yellowed, grout can become difficult to maintain, and a bathtub that once saw daily use may now sit largely unused. Some of the homeowners we speak with tell us they cannot remember the last time anyone in the household took a bath.

Our bathtub remodeling process begins with removing the existing tub and surrounding wall system. Once the old materials are out, we inspect and prepare the space, take precise measurements, and install a new acrylic tub and wall system designed specifically for your bathroom.
At 1 Day Bath of Arizona, we work with you to select the color and finish during a free in-home design consultation. A bathtub remodel in Ahwatukee, AZ, does not have to mean living through an extended renovation. Most projects can be completed in a single day, so you can move from an outdated tub to a refreshed bathroom without having your home disrupted for weeks.
Here is what you can expect when you work with our team.
Free In-Home Consultation: We visit your home to assess your existing tub and surround and learn what you would like to change. You might want a deeper tub, a different color, or a cleaner and more contemporary appearance. We bring samples so you can compare your options in person and make a decision based on your actual space.
Design and Measurement: Once you select your tub and wall system, we take precise measurements of the bathroom. We use those measurements to order components that are suited to the dimensions and layout of your specific space.
Removal and Installation: On installation day, our installers remove the existing tub and surround and inspect the plumbing. If adjustments are needed, we address them as part of the preparation. We then install the new tub and wall system and clean the work area before completing the job.
Final Walkthrough: After installation, we review the finished bathroom with you and make sure everything is completed as expected. If anything needs attention, our team takes care of it before we leave.
